Rounding out the top ten were PayPal, Chase Merchant Services, Global Payments, Wells Fargo Merchant Services, Stripe, Priority Payment Systems and North American Bancard, J.D. Power said. Chase Merchant Services’ score dropped 18 points, pushing it from second to fifth place.

Rick’s Take

  • I’m pretty sure merchants were never happy with payment providers?
  • Frankly I think a lot of people have to worry about Apple Pay in the US.

No Adyen, Worldpay, Cybersource in the top 10? Are these just not popular in the US?

I’m guessing retail dominates this list not eCommerce. All are popular

Adyen and Worldpay are big players in Retail/Hospitality, at least in Europe, with certified partnerships with several POS manufacturers and PED providers (the latter is really important).

Cybersource is ecommerce only.
