Gift Card solutions

Hi friends,

Curious to know who you are using for Gift Cards. Please include what ecommerce platform it is coupled with too. We will start collecting new feedback from others as well.

What Are the Top Gift Card Solutions According to RMW Commerce Community Members?

US Market

  • Rise.io : A lot of my clients are using Rise.io coupled with Shopify.
Many use Shopify native, but Rise.io allows for scheduling and sending to recipients AND if there are stores enables customers to use their Gift Cards across all locations (Dotcom + Store). @rebuildgirl

  • Modern Retail
We have used Modern Retail’s solution in the past. Work across ecommerce and brick & mortar. We are focused on BigCommerce implementations, but they have integrations with most of the major ecommerce platforms. @khargreaves

UK Market
These two diverse ecommerce platforms and POS, and ability to buy cards in “card malls” from supermarkets, fuel stations (card is loaded at the POS and instantly ready for use), and support “e-topup” through third parties generally @Miles_Thomas

What other players are you seeing / using?

Cheers,

Jac

Welcome @khargreaves Kevin! So glad to have you here. I hadn’t heard of this solution before, so good to add it to the mix. The fact that it works in retail scenarios is notable.

This is great @khargreaves
I haven’t heard of Modern Retail either.
Do they allow for scheduling sends, multiple gift card design options for ecomm?

Unfortunately you are now above my pay grade (or at least my technical grade)
My Solution Architects would need to weigh in.

Totally ok! I can investigate! Thanks for the great addition to the thread

A couple that I have seen in the UK are SVS and Fiserv, linked to diverse ecommerce platforms and POS, and ability to buy cards in “card malls” from supermarkets, fuel stations (card is loaded at the POS and instantly ready for use), and support “e-topup” through third parties generally
