Dive Brief: Following a series of trade-in events last year, Dick’s Sporting Goods has teamed up with SidelineSwap, the online marketplace for new and used sporting goods, to host 200 trade-in events in 19 states during the first half of 2023, the retailer announced on Thursday.

I think this is scaling it up. SidelineSwap and Dicks have done a few tests. 200 events in the first half of the year sounds pretty significant to me.

Not sure if the results will be material to Dick’s, but I can imagine that used equipment would be greatly liked by its customers, and potentially drive traffic into the Stores.
