I have a friend who is a Chief Digital Officer at a furniture brand looking into customer data platform vendors – Twilio Segment seems to be the leader here. Are there any others they should evaluate?

Xtremepush is a large player in this space in Europe. Would be worthwhile evaluating.

We use Segment and it is a great platform but can be pretty complex to work with. My recommendation is to spend some time thinking about your schema and document it before you begin.
I have heard some good stuff about Hightouch being a Segment killer and what not. Have not had a chance to investigate yet.
Hey Jon, We are working with a firm called Sitation, which specializes in developing CDP and PIM schemes, and have tons of experience with the Furniture business, so I think I should have a fighting shot at getting it close to right the first time. However, we are looking hard at BloomReach this coming week.
